Welcome to the Book Nook in Monroe, Michigan

In the last couple of years we have been doing the duck thing where everything looks calm on the surface but we're paddling like crazy beneath the surface.   If you have ever played the video game Plants vs Zombies please know that we are the little pea-shooters and Amazon is the Zombies.

Anyhow, I went ahead and got this super-duper website with the ability to offer e-books through Kobo so you could support this local bookstore and use your e-reader. I don't have it configured yet, though - a tech-genius I am not.  So please be patient.

The store is chock full of books but please know that just because the title is on the website it doesn't necessarily mean it is in the store - there are about 6 million titles listed here and I fear the building would cave in if we had them all.   So just send us an e-mail or give us a call if you have any questions.

We have also re-configured the layout of the store to make it more open so if you haven't been in lately stop by and take a look.
